Think modern Cruel Intentions but with brothers. Reading how Dawn schools this naughty twosome made this one of my favorite books of the year! But Miss Wright, I am a stickler for endings and yours has me torn. I hate how the story just ends with what felt like a minimal conclusion, but damn, does this woman know how to write one mean epilogue! Kenya had me salivating for what would come next and ready to take a bite out of her ass for not providing me with more!

This read offers vivid action and amazing insight into a whole array of characters. The back stories weaved through Ascension successfully added a layer of depth to the characters and the plot, allowing Rourke's characters to become truly three-dimensional.  Ascension was thoroughly entertaining and pushed the story along beautifully. Celeste especially grows into her powers and shows a new level of maturity and acceptance. Reviewer: Bex Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Fairies Gabi is still a kick-ass character. In many ways, I prefer her even more in book three. She really embraces her talents. What I especially like, is the fact that she's not infallible; it's this more human-like aspect of her character that makes the reader able to empathise with her character.   I love that world that Sharon Hannaford creates. Her descriptive narrative and element of realism in the fantasy world, creates a world that is exciting and vivid. I do enjoy the author's stylistic quirks. It is the author's ability to bring her world to life that successfully captured my attention and drew me in. The cast of secondary characters was extensive. It was fun getting to know several of these characters a little better. This also enabled the story to become more three-dimensional.  For fans of urban fantasy, be sure to continue wit h this amazing series. I cannot wait until the author's next epic instalment.
