I have yet to read this book; it honestly pains me to admit this, as I've being following Nadège for a while now and am desperate to feast on Burning Bridges. When I began reading this book, I knew nothing about it other than the title and the author. I went in blind but I'm so glad I had the chance to read it and I absolutely could not put it down. I was sucked into the world of Echo and Ayden and I didn't want to leave.
Burning Bridges is a love story with trials, tragedy, gladatorial battles and devastation. Echo and Ayden's lives are so controlled by either their circumstances or other people that I actually felt claustrophobic, smothered and desperate for them both. This story keeps you hanging on as you really can't guess whether the ending is going to be a happy one or not and I'm not going to spoil it by telling you.
This is a very fast read and it will leave you entranced and wanting more. Nadège is a wonderful author and I can't wait for the sequel to this story or any other story that she writes. I thoroughly enjoyed Burning Bridges and I look forward to reading more from Nadège. Well done Nadège.
I would give it 5 stars as the story is very worthy of them, but I hope the spelling and grammar mistakes are corrected and also some of the text is in bold and I'm not sure if it should be!
